Video walls provide a higher pixel density allowing high resolution images to be displayed and are often used instead of a single large screen as they have the ability to customise layout and can create custom sizes and shapes.
LCD and LED screens specifically designed for use in video walls usually have narrow bezels in order to minimize the gap between displays and are built to a high standard for 24/7 usage. Such screens often contain the hardware necessary to construct the wall, along with connections to daisy chain power, video, and control signals between the screens.
Typical display technologies include LCD panels, LED arrays and rear projection screens.
